San Diego Trip

Well we just got home from San Diego. We had a fun time. We stayed in a nice hotel and did so many fun things. We went to Sea World, Celebrated Katie's 5th Birthday, Visited my Grandma's Home, attended her memorial Service, visited the Mormon Battalion Visitor's Center. The only downside was the 3 hours that we spent in San Diego rush hour traffic trying to get home. Needless to say, we had to stop 3 hours out of St. George in the Wells Fargo Motel in Baker, CA. Can you say flea bag. We're home now and getting ready in a frenzy for Thanksgiving.

Grandma

My grandma, who was almost 97 just passed away. She had lived a long life and didn't want to live as an invalid. She's lived that way for about a year and a half and I'm sure it was hard on her. Our whole family is heading to San Diego for her funeral. It will be an enlightening experience for family members who aren't used to the chaos of so many children. But I want so much for my kids to have a memory of San Diego and her home, and some Aunts and Uncles.
