FERBER-IZING

It's 12:45 a.m.  I am tired of child #6 waking in the night, so with little to back me up other than the courage of my clean house to sustain me, I refuse to give in and feed or get said child out of bed.  Instead, every 10 minutes I walk in, Say "I love you Ben, now go night-night"  I am so glad church isn't til 1 tomorrow
:{  Ferberizing is a pain, but worth it in the end.  Whether anyone else will agree with me is another question entirely.

What is "Ferber-izing" and how do I do it?

based on Dr. Ferber's Book "Solve Your Child's Sleep Problems". You've already done, it you just didn't know you did. Letting them cry a few minutes-5-10, reassuring them from the doorway, then still letting them cry. The first night always takes about 45 minutes but if you give in it's like potty training and you have to start all over. If you don't give in it's like magic the next night.
